I’ve had direct experiences that speak to this, but not for a long time. So I find myself in the position of sometimes exploring esoteric topics I have less and less direct experience of. It’s a weird position.

As a long-time reader, have you ever considered writing a book to expand the above essay further? I think a book is a better mechanism to learn and share knowledge as it pushes a writer to think beyond writing a few pages of an essay.
