Thanks, Justin. I thought I was really cooking.

Gotta be your best piece of work yet Tom. I could feel the rightness in it through every word, not just from you relating your experiences but by how I responded to them.

I needed this today. I'm feeling slightly rattled, on uneven ground after a couple of months of magical experiences that I have no previous belief structure to help integrate them. So reading this gave me enough focus to recognise that that's okay. I'm moving forward. It's right that I struggle sometimes.

Many many thanks Tom.

Thanks, Kelvin. That's really encouraging. Whilst I felt that I was retreading some old ground, I always wonder how many people are as familiar with my story as I assume they must be. In this case, it was necessary to hammer the points. But yeah, I feel like this is some of my better stuff because, honestly, it's an amalgamation of my best ideas. The fact that it's helped you is confirmation of that and really has made my day. Thank you again for messaging.

This is amazing. Thanks @Nadjeschda Taranczewski for tagging me in your publication https://www.skool.com/ctcommunity/wrestling-with-our-money-demons-and-how-to-unclench-our-body?p=fcc33622 !!!!

💯 My inner feeling is exactly that! Our connective tissues around organs and muscles store the traumas we have faced and collaborating with the body in any type of somatic work goes to unlock the energy stored there.

This is definitely what made me attend @Peter Koenig’s first MasterClass on Money and Source in 2014. After attending his workshop in the WIN conference in Prague on Money I asked him to forget about money and work with me on something I had experienced that same day (already on reclamation) and I immediately sensed a discharge of energy probably from my perineum down my right leg…

I had already turned to Yoga in 2009 and went through my brother's death mourning along with a lot of somatic healing throughout the 4 year training and the pregnancy and birth of my third child. I discovered a way to tune into different parts of myself that I am still discovering...

When later in life I was challenged beyond what I thought I could bear with the death of my beloved husband and then the mental crisis of my daughter during my perimenopause years and entering now into menopause I realize it was all initiations to get to the decision to extract myself from an environment that was not holding me anymore. It indeed had to do with money, I woke up a couple of years back a 3 AM with the question How much is enough?, I had already experienced that money actually appears from unexpected places when you most need it as you align to your calling and I continue to experience that today.

2 other resonances when you say : Our bodies seem to grow toward a kind of target shape, a master blueprint they keep returning to even when disrupted. My dear friend @manel ballester describes this beautifully in his book 'ABC de la Medicina Energética, la dinámica de campos' with extensive scientific mentions for whoever needs them and foreworded by the courageous @dralexgomezmarin currently challenging the status quo of science from within talking about his NDE.

Listening to you and to Nadja's metaphore of the rooms in the house made me realize how in my own experience I am getting to consider that each part of the body/room is a kind of elder and that if I get to speak and attend to them when they call, then we are a kind of circle of elders or communities that are wanting to express, be listened to, attended to and integrated and transformed. And this is where my practice is going to go to. Accompanying people to recover their agency through examining the relationship to money and that through the body...

I love the synchronicities that Jung also discussed about and on the future point I realized after that I had had a dream 6 months before attending the conference and meeting @Peter Koenig that was speaking about that...

Thank you for your courage: the rage of the ❤️.

❤️‍🔥

What an incredible and magical message to receive. Thank you. I'm such a fan of Nadja, and Peter's work as well. It's so funny you say that about your right leg. I have had clenching around my whole right hip and shooting pains down my right leg since I started this whole exploration a few months ago, so I wonder what the hell that is about. What amazing work you've done in terms of alchemizing your relationship to money. I honestly think it's why many of us are here in this lifetime. Thank you for taking the time to write me such a great message.

Our right body side is neurologically cross-wired to the left brain hemisphere.

Can’t believe it, I’ve been having the same pain for a while, but since Jan it has intensified a lot, like something screaming for attention - still wondering wtf is it.

So how do we correct the oft-cited "curiosity killed the cat?" Or is the reframe: Cats enjoy nine lives. be curious! ? There's something in this! Thanks for your transparency. You know, searching for where to place my purpose has been a humbling journey, and your support has been immensely critical to my sustained positive mental health. Thank you!

I think that's what the left hemisphere is for, to be honest. There are things that feel good but genuinely don't pass the sniff test. There are people and ideas that we are attracted to that are very, very bad for us. I don't have any good answers, but I think one of the purposes of big transitions coming around 36 is that you've gained the discernment not to completely let your bliss run you off a cliff.

I was thinking the same after reading the article this morning. I think no model can contain life, and treating curiosity as the ultimate compass is itself a model. Like all the others, it's useful and fit for purpose - until it isn't.

If the duality pair is curiosity/indifference, we can add a wise/foolish axis and build a 2x2 grid (or a larger one) to expand our worldview quite fast:

Wise Curiosity - Foolish Curiosity

Wise Indifference - Foolish Indifference

Wise curiosity and wise indifference are hallmarks of discernment, a main staple of a healthy spiritual path.

Love that 2x2 framing

I have been working with the idea that when one is living a value resonant life then enough is literally a feast! What a brilliant article- Also, at the height of Steiner's spiritual research he wrote about economics. I think you're right, money wants to be reintegrated.

Tom Morgan's avatar

Thank you! We never evolve by cutting off a part of ourselves, and I do think that money represents something in that regard.

really loved this one, and thought of meditations on moloch throughout just to see your footnote! i love how you pulled from so many conversations and practices here.

Tom Morgan's avatar

Thanks so much, Katy. Here's a weird little synchronicity I experienced around Moloch. “Years later, on a long flight to visit my sister in Berkeley I was gripped by the inexplicable idea of Moloch being some kind of family possession. I can’t really explain why. When I arrived at her house, I tried to explain my garbled reasoning. She looked at me with polite confusion. But then I immediately walked into her bathroom and at exactly my eye level on the shelf above the toilet was the book of Alan Ginsberg’s poem Howl, about Moloch.”
