I find it very interesting that many manifestations of what was previously considered outside the realms of possibility by the western mainstream worldview - things like telepathy - are seemingly becoming more acceptable, at exactly the same time as AI becomes more woven into our lives.
There's an anecdote (unfortunately I can't remember where I read it) about some members of the Kogi tribe of Colombia, visiting New York to participate in a conference: they see everyone engrossed in their little black rectangles, and ask their hosts what they are all doing. It is explained that these are smartphones, communication devices which can connect them instantaneously to others across a network which spans the world. The kogi laugh and say "you mean they've forgotten they're telepathic like us?"
I think belief systems are going to have to be very flexible to survive what's coming. The ability to question the grounds and limits of our existing reality tunnels (and honestly face the difficult answers), not just philosophically but from an embodied place, will be an essential skill in creating the new future.
What do we discover when we question the limits of acceptability in discourse about what is real, why they are where they are, how a system in which it seems important that everyone else (ie. billions of people) agrees, and all sorts of shitty behaviour is used to try to enforce that, comes to exist?
My view is that our shared reality is built on many many generations of hierarchical control, into a consensus that reality is an external thing which is only real if it meets criteria decided upon by certain (usually highly problematic) authorities, a situation which can only be overturned by people acting as individuals: doing some serious inner work to free and validate their own felt inner reality (which is the route to reenchanting ourselves, the world, and all we share)... But that can be very hard work, it means facing death, and is vulnerable to hijack by wounded ego, and hence outside manipulation, at every stage. Yet it's also the work of initiation that nearly every human culture (except ours) has ever known, otherwise known as the hero's journey. So we have it in our bones.
So funny- I told that Kogi story in the thinking the unthinkable essay in November. I have this creeping sense that tech is a trick, it keeps us from the bigger picture. Internet not telepathy, rockets not astral travel, ai not god.

Technology is a wide field. I think language is also a kind of technology, and the modern idea that draws a line around certain kinds of tech and casts them put as 'bad' seems less and less useful for me. The new ones are extremely powerful, magical technologies, which are difficult to master responsibly: maybe they are asking us to grow up, provoking us through the teachings of addiction, to new levels of self-mastery, so we can play with them wisely as tools of creation which open up great vistas of opportunity... and put them down when we don't need them
(This has been my fairly recent reframing, which has been allowing me a great new relationship with it all - much less angst!)
Absolutely 100%. Not to mention the immersive wearables that totally cut you off from your senses, let alone the sixth+ senses. I don’t think the answer is to be a Luddite, but to be wise about how the tools are used.
Fantastic piece. Last fall, I suddenly had this thought that earth was training school for souls. I immediately imagined what the curriculum might involve (eg, self-discovery of collective self / intrinsic interconnection between self and other) and even parallels to graduation requirements, diploma, teachers, etc.
This concept felt so novel and intuitively correct. Since then, it has been a bit wild to notice it reappear in various forms, including here. Something is in the air!

Thank you! With this kind of transition I think it's always hard/impossible to find "hard" evidence. It's simply vibes. And that means you're at risk of seeking confirmation bias. So it's good when others independently feel the same thing.
Yes totally! How do we check against our multi-dimensional, multi-perceptual bias? My best versions of this is we need mirrors, people & guides to ask, plus check in with our bodies—what does this feel like (specifically and wholistically) when it's 'true', checking that through a variety of techniques. Great questions thank you, how about you?
Wait till you listen to Bashar entity channel .. more recent and detailed info / guy is still channeling . Has massive following . Have to listen through lot of silly questions that people ask but some there are many gems there. Also entity Michaels teaching’s channel from the 70s is good , there is a 320 page pdf online somewhere with full transcript
