Really pleased you’re writing about this, Tom. I did the survey and was keen to see the results. It’s encouraging.

I left a senior leadership role in the corporate world last year. I was a lawyer before that. So I would describe myself as “sober and discerning” as you put it. I now live in Bali which has brought me closer to most of the things in the top half of your chart.

I always believed in synchronicity but most other things I can’t imagine talking to my past colleagues about, without wondering if it will undermine my credibility and make people think I’m having some sort of crisis!

And yet a greater awareness of all of these things - particularly somatic work and trauma stored in the body - is so desperately needed for people to feel more fulfilled in (or able to escape..) the corporate systems of the West.

I hope you’re right that we’re on the verge of a tipping point. It reminds me of the (supposedly) fictional book The Celestine Prophecy. The book talks about something similar happening and the benefits of a world where everyone is much more connected to themselves, their intuition and the energy around them. I’m excited to see if it comes true.

I wouldn’t claim everyone in my community is C suite, but 40pct are founders or C suite…

The world needs people exactly like you, with your background, coming out too. The funny thing is I tell people it’s probably your ceo that is secretly woo too….

I could definitely see that! So next stop = seeing if you can get McKinsey or one of the big management consultancies to run your survey on C-suite!! That would be fascinating

Interesting! Can you tell what proportion of those responding to the survey were in that category? Can’t remember if there was a question about role/level

No: but a lot of my community were in the initial 270 responding and I know who they are.

I love this! This just reinforces my growing belief of the changes occurring that are now opening, expanding and supporting the individual and collective awareness. What occurred to me as I read the results is the idea that all things are possible because of the infinite potentialities that lie within each of us, it's just a question of resonance - much like schools of yoga, meditation, martial arts, etc. these are all different modalities, which resonate more with some less with others, yet all end up leading to the same place. Ultimately, those of now "coming out" as Woo serve as bridges, lighthouses (pick your analogy) for others to feel safe enough to share, affirm and be. Can't help but grow increasingly excited as this continues to unfold....

I can feel that excitement within us both. I think it’s real. Can’t be sure, but I believe it is

I think Scott-Vincent Borba’s (co-founder of the billion-dollar E.L.F. Cosmetics empire) recent appearance on the Today Show could have been an “Oprah moment” for spiritually transformative experiences. Like the near-death experience stories she helped bring into the mainstream in the 80s/90s, his account has the potential to spark curiosity, reduce stigma, and normalize conversations about profound spiritual experiences happening to “normal” people. In many ways, his experience is identical to many spiritual emergency stories I know - but since it ultimately led him to becoming a priest, I think people will dismiss it as something that only happens to people with religious inclinations rather than just being a “normal” (cringe) part of human experience.

Wow, I just read that story. I wonder how much that will resonate given how extreme it is.

Thank you for this, I really needed it today🙏🏼

So great to hear from and about other woo folks.

I recently started publishing Soul Chronicles about channeled writing and my spiritual journey.

First time writing and publishing.

What a roller coaster of emotions it has been as I work through the fears and doubts.

Thank you, Mimi. I can tell you from personal experience that each person that decides to come out of the closet makes it easier for the next person. It is God's work.
