The cultivation of unconditional love abilities is the cornerstone of the meditative technique. I see a connection here and also to the generation of powerful transrational awareness.

Thank you- I agree. Weird it doesnt enter the AI discourse at all...

Just watched a movie called Nitram (2021). Exactly reflect on the quote you used in this article, “the child that’s rejected by the village burns it down to feel its warmth.”

This is sharp!

The highest praise especially in this context thanks!

Excellent article. So much has been written about what AI does or doesn't do, can or cannot do, and may or may not be able to do in the future, and yet not nearly so much attention has been given (it seems to me) to what AI _means_, or even to what it might _symbolise_. Some highly suggestive probings here in that direction, but it feels like we're still at the beginning of what's shaping up to be one helluva journey!

Thanks, Louis. I share the same instinct that AI is actually showing us a mirror of our own deeper capabilities. I haven't really seen anyone ask how you cultivate the ability to know the right thing to type into the text box.

Yes, I feel that AI as mirror could be one very suggestive approach, rather than the fear-driven view of AI as something straining to escape our control. Hence the importance, as you say, of the quality of the prompts we feed into it. And speaking of prompts, I've just got so perplexed about the whole business, with different experts saying different things - sometimes diametrically different - that I finally got around to asking Inner Guidance for some pointers on the subject. And then a couple of days later your article pops up in my Inbox! What I found so refreshing about it is that you're not attempting to provide answers so much as looking at the best questions we can be asking that would open up new perspectives on the subject. This I believe is the way forward!

Love this. A lot to say, but mostly I’m taking this as a nudge to read the book that has been sitting unopened on my nightstand for the past two years: Into the Magic Shop!

Beautiful article. I heard James Doty on a podcast just last year, and was blown away by his life and work. Didn't realize he passed on, but will definitely add this book to my list to keep his wisdom alive. Appreciate the reminder to always be touching into our heart-mind and keeping the intention to operate from this place of deeper truth and inter-being.
