The distinction of 'headism' is important, as it highlights our tendency to favor head intelligence. I’d like to add that heart and body intelligences are equally necessary. In fact, it’s striking the balance of all three centers of intelligence (like riding a wave, to use your metaphor) that allows wisdom to emerge in us. I’m working on an article that will outline this in more detail soon. Until then, thank you, Tom, for another great article on a project that deserves our collective attention and support! πŸ„πŸ»β€β™€οΈ

Legit one of the best conversations I’ve ever been a part of. Watched it 4x already.

Kindergarten stuff. I just don’t know where to begin.

Appreciate the feedback. When you decide where to start, I’m open to a conversation.

Thanks Tom, my criticism is about the thousands out there who are so quick take the stick to our market based system that has delivered to the majority surpluses like mankind has never seen before. Sure there are the obvious shortcomings you describe. However if you want to be constructive how about a discussion about other market based economies around the world sans the democracy factor?

Apologies if the nuance didn’t come out. The market system is a miracle. But it’s bumping up against its eventual limitations. The transcend and include model implies a higher level of complexity and consciousness at the next stage. For me that’s incorporating a pretty anomalous idea of attractor intelligence (relevant links in footnotes). Technology is amazing, and we were supposed to develop it. But it needs to be used in service of the system we inhabit. And hopefully will be. It definitely isn’t about abandoning the market: that’s for stoned kids in the dorm room. It’s about evolving it.

Thanks Tom we might be on the same page after all.
